Its almost Christmas time!!!

もうすぐクリスマスです！！！

For doing such a great job on their Christmas homework,   I thought it would be a perfect time to try out our new game. Mini-Golf!!!

クリスマスの宿題がとってもよくできていたので、ご褒美に新しいゲームをしてもらうことにしました。ミニゴルフです！！！

The kids really loved playing golf!!

みんなゴルフがとっても楽しかったようです！！！

After a few tries they were getting really good at it.

２、３回やってみただけで、もうみんなとっても上手！

They enjoyed it so much that when it was time to leave they kept saying  “one more time” ” again, again, please”   So cute!!

よっぽど楽しかったのか、帰る時間になっても、みんな「もう一回やらせて！」とくり返していました。とってもかわいかったです！！！

For the past few weeks we have been talking about tall towers and building around the world.

ここ２、３週間程、高層ビルやタワーについてみんなで話をしてきました。

For homework the  students had to design their very own spaghetti tower using only 30 sticks of spaghetti and marshmallows.

そして宿題として、自分だけのスパゲッティタワーをデザインしてもらいました。使っていいのは30本のスパゲッティとマシュマロだけです。

They all had very different ideas and designs.

それぞれのデザインは全く異なるものでした！

Hmmmm……….  Thinking very hard.

めっちゃがんばって考えています！

FINISHED!!!!   Awesome job!!!

完成！！！とってもよくできました！！！

This month with the kids classes we tried baking microwave chocolate cake!!!

The kids first learned about what ingredients they needed and then got to work on mixing and baking.

今月のキッズクラスは、電子レンジでチョコレートケーキを作りました！

どんな材料が必要なのかを習い、それらの材料を混ぜてケーキを焼きました。

The children all enjoyed measuring, mixing, pouring and especially tasting the cake as we went along.

みんな楽しそうに材料を計ったり、混ぜたり、型に流しこんだりしました。特に味見が楽しかったようです。

Sometimes things went a little bit wrong.  oops

ちょっと失敗したりもしました。あらら・・・

But we tried again and had better results :p

でも再度挑戦して、おいしく出来ました。

The lil Ones first attempt looked delicious but was a bit hard, so we tried again the following week and ended up with awesome fluffy chocolate cupcakes.

「The Lil Ones」クラスの1回目は見かけは美味しそうでしたが、少し固い仕上がりでした。だから、次の週に再挑戦し、とても美味しいフワフワのチョコレートカップケーキが出来ました。

「Crayons」クラスではトッピングにホイップクリームを使いました。

What should we try making next??

次は何を作ろうかなぁ。
